St. Luke's University Health Network is proud to welcome Bob Page, M.ED, CCP, NCEE for a two day interactive con ed opportunity. April 20th and April 21, 2016 8:00AM – 4:00PM Both days Bob will be presenting the following workshops and lectures. Day One Multi-Lead MedicsTM – Bob Page started his Multi-Lead MedicsTM philosphy in 1998 which has expanded into a series of courses that explain advanced ECG (12 lead) and patient assessment concepts in an easy to understand and unconditional way. This nationally acclaimed course has been adopted by the Critical Care ParamedicTM Course curriculum at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. The Topics covered in this Course include Proper Lead Placement, Axis and Hemiblock determination, Bundle Branch Blocks, Differentiating Wide Complex Tachycardia, and Myocardial Infarction recognition. Also included is the use of a 15 lead ecg. The course includes a workbook with practice problems and handy charts for rapid use in the field. Day Two Multi-Lead MedicsTM Enhanced 12 Lead ECG Course – This is a continuation of the basic Multi-Lead Medics course. Completion of the basic is strongly recommended. The topics covered in the enhanced course include a review of the basic MLM materials, AMI diagnosis in the presence of a LBBB, Atrial and Ventricular Hypertrophy, Drug and Electrolyte changes, Acute Coronary Syndromes and Case based presentations. Slap the Cap The Role of Capnography in EMS aka "Slap the Cap!" – This is a nationally presented course that is an eye opening experience when participants learn the incredible benefits gained from full ETCO2 monitoring and waveform assessment. In this exciting and informative session, Bob reviews the A&P of the respiratory system and explains, through the use of multi-media and audience involvement, the role of capnography in cases of cardiac arrest to COPD, from seizures to shock, in fact, anyone with a problem with ABC's should have continuous monitoring of ETCO2 and waveform.
